If you have not watched the Vice documentary of the white supremacist rally in Charlottesville, NC, I recommend doing so with a shot of whiskey and a box of tissues. It’s disturbing, gut-wrenching, and angry-making.
The silver lining is that public revulsion at the events there and at the presidipshit’s statements of false equivalence between racists and anti-racists, more statues are coming down, students are demanding more action by universities to increase diversity and dismantle white supremacy, and “pro-Trump” rallies in 36 states have been cancelled.
