Like our disgusted demon cat, I am going to take a break from this strip for a few months. Since the death of my mother last Fall I have been managing her estate (with the gracious help of family friends), making cross country trips back East, while still raising a kid, helping my older kid care for my grandchild, and juggle two day jobs. I am a little burned out.
Also, as indicated by this strip, the toxicity of our politics has gotten to me. I don’t want to abandon Fetch altogether — I really like the character, and the world I have built around him. So I intend to take him back up in June.
