And so we’re off into the Underworld. That is indeed Charon, the ferryman — or death cabbie — of the River Styx found in Classical Greek mythology. He’s one of my favorite psychopomps (along with the Raven), and I have always imagined him kinda like this: a Greek cab driver who eagerly helps you load your luggage at the airport and takes you to your fate, or doom, whatever the case may be.

As for the Seelie Courts, they’re part of the Otherworld. We’ll get into more of that later, but if you’re curious, this page at The Faeriepedia is a good introduction.
